dear lillian,

today i walked into the kitchen to find that you had taken off your overalls, socks, and shoes all by yourself. you asked for help with your shirt and then you ushered me out of the room and led me by the hand to my computer. you walked back into the kitchen and proceeded to put your socks and shoes back on by YOURSELF! your shoes were on the wrong feet but, you got them on and strapped the velcro perfectly! i don't know when you decided that you wanted to undress and dress yourself, but it's such a huge milestone and i am so very proud of you. you are so brilliant!

i got my school pictures back. i know i don't look very happy, but i am. don't worry. i am a very happy and active girl. i love to sing and dance. mom just bought me some play dress up shoes that she always wanted when she was a little girl. they are pink and sparkly and i like to clomp around in them. i was a fairy for halloween and i wish i would have had the shoes in time to wear them with my wings. mom and i just had a conference at my school. i will be moving up to the curious cubs room in a couple weeks! i am potty training myself and have learned to count to 10. i just need to brush up a little on my shapes and colors now.
